I live a busy life with my husband and 4 boys on the Lower East Side of Manhattan and was born on the Upper West Side of Manhattan where my parents still live. I owned a flower design business for 15 years until I turned my passions of exercise, healthy cooking and nutrition into a second career by becoming a certified holistic Heath Coach, fitness instructor and personal trainer. I focus on inspiring other busy women, mothers and families to regain their health in a real, down to earth, attainable way. I try to make healthy living a reachable goal that everyone can sustain and feel happy about.
While my fist love is spending time with my family, I also love to box, swim, garden, run, cook, dance, write and draw. I practice meditation and kundalini yoga and am inspired by women such as Brene Brown and Tara Brach. I have practiced yoga for 20 years, and will finish training and be a certified yoga teacher by July 2019 (something I’ve wanted to do for years!)
I am so excited to keep my learning going! I am currently taking a course in women’s hormone health, am signed up for a course in positive psychology, have completed courses in Chinese Herbs, am a practitioner of EFT (accupressure tapping to relieve anxiety) and I learn from every women I work with and plan to continue my learning as long as I can.
I believe women who stick together and support each other are powerful and healing.
